Dr. Scott Ferguson has been in full-time practice since 1988, the year he earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Detroit. Dr. Ferguson is a member of the Thumb District Dental Society, the Michigan Dental Association and the American Dental Association. He is also a member of the Port Huron Study Club - part of a nation wide network of affiliates under the Seattle Study Club. Dr Ferguson has completed advanced training through the Misch Institute for Implant Training and is a Fellow in the International Congress of Oral Implantology. A Port Huron native and active supporter of many local associations, Dr. Ferguson lives in North Street with his wife Syeda and their son, Gabriel and daughter, Maya.
Dr. Jennifer M. Shaheen-McNiel has joined our dental practice. Jennifer is a 2009 graduate of the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. In June 2005 she received her Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from Michigan State University. Since graduation, she has practiced with her father, and has performed a wide variety of dental procedures such as: Air Techniques Intraoral Camera to aid in the Treatment planning process, CEREC 3.8 with the Blue Camera, Clear Correct Aligners, Cosmetic Dentistry including Bleaching and Veneers, DIANOdent Laser to aid in decay detection, Endodontics, including molar Root Canal Therapy, Extractions as well as insurance knowledge and billing experiences.
Jennifer takes great pride in her career, and attends many continuing education courses. Born and raised in Frankenmuth, Michigan. She lives in Royal Oak with her husband Steve. Dr. Shaheen is in the office on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays.
